PostSubject: Doggy eating preferences?   Fri 20 Nov 2009, 8:01 pm

When i bought Buddy, his previous owners told me he wont eat chips. (To which i thoughti wasn't planning on giving him any, anyway!) So the other night my hubby had a plate if chips which he poured over ketchup. He then went and left them on the table to answer his phone, thinkin they were safe as Ty was asleep in the other room and Buddy doesn't like them. He returned a few minutes later to find Buddy had climbed up on the chair both front feet on the tables licking his lips after polishing his plate! Turns out Buddy loves chips, but only when they covered in red sauce!

My other fur baby, will eat anything i put down for him, but i have to carefull that he doesn't get hold of any batter. ( i will spare the details of how ill he is) I found this when i had taken the batter off a fish and put it in the bin. i must not have put the lid on right and Ty went and fetched it out. The resulting consequences were gross and now if i take batter off a fish, i bag it up and it goes straight in the outside bin which has a locked lid!

So does your dog have any allergies or preferences no matter how weird?!

Kassi eats anything alive or dead! Bugs, spiders, the frogs hop out of the way quickly and she hops as well hysterical.

She eats any food.

I am working on something at the moment with Boris foster dog, he is petrified of cheese (the only dog I have known not to like cheese). You show him cheese and he runs away and sits quivvering - he was a bit like that with milk as well to start with but is ok with that now.

How odd, that Suki can eat raw beef but not beef flavoured food, it shows you that they put more in than they tell you!

Can i borrow Daisy when my vax packs up? lololol

I hate spiders ( i dont kill them, i just get jazz to put them outside!) so now i know who to cal when jazz aint arround, Kassi! Ill pay her with gravy bones! lol

aww bless Boris, perhaps he has been bullied by mice previously?

You lot are mental. Poor Boris has a serious psychological problem and you tease him about mice lol!

It is weird though he has a real phobia if that comes out of the fridge. Kassi just looks round and says "more for me then"

Lol another thing both my dogs like, paul used the cheerios cereal box to reinforce the cake lol sounds crazy. Well anyway he put the cheerios ontop of the fridge i opened the fridge door and the packet of cheerios fell to the floor there were cheerios everywhere thats when my two hoovers kicked in and made short work of them.

So eddi likes something else!!

Boris might have been given something nasty in cheese to make him eat it maybe? Eddi won't touch salami now as i put nasty tasting pills in it for him and he got the taste of the pill he wont just swallow it like daisy he is more delicate when eating hehe.
