...if you had just one wish and could back in time and retrain your dog in just one thing?

I would start again with Bailey and his lead walking - Bailey was our first bigger dog and 10 years ago I didn't really know anything about how to walk with a dog. I used to keep him on a tight lead all the time thinking that was keeping him under control. Bailey was / is very excitable when he's out and about . Every time he pulled I tightened my grip and just created a constant battle which is still ongoing today in his mind. To this day he still pulls on the lead and nothing we have tried really works with him.

If I could start again ...I know it would be sooooo different

If I could go back in time I would introduce more people to Kassi so that they were not a novelty act.

She did not meet anyone except the vet in her first months of life and she just loves people, but sadly is a nightmare at wanting to jump up all the time which can be very daunting at times.

She only does this to adults, if it is a child she sits as good as gold.

The training is ongoing on this point, in a huge crowd she is quite good, but one to one she thinks they are all hers.

Buddy is over socialised with people - he met everyone and everything from me getting him. I would carry him round to my mums, meeting neighbours on the way - but he still is the same as Kassi. Although, young kids he will sit nicely and he does for my grandad too.Sure they know really how to behave.

I would of had him at puppy classes though, so he had more manners round other dogs. Although his never attacked another dog, I just worry too much cos when his on lead he sometimes acts like he could do some damage :(

Kai we would have trained him with a training line rather than let him do what he wanted most of the time as a puppy.

Its not a problem any more as we I went back to basics with him and a training line and got it sorted, but would have been easier if we had done it in the first place.

My other two I wouldn't do anything differently, Diesel is a great dog and Indie is coming along nicely she's already doing her heelwork off lead at obedience classes at only 5 months old.

I would have socalized Cassie more by carrying her around big events like marts etc before she had her jabs, as I think she wouldnt be so excitable when she meets new people thenxxxx
