PostSubject: cassie unsettled   Mon 09 Jan 2012, 7:35 pm

Cassie is very unsettled at night it has happened since we returned home from up north, she is pacing in and out of the kitchen, she just wont settle down in the evening, I do wonder if maybe there is a fox about as when she goes out at night she is barking which is very unusual, she also became very very distressed the other afternoon when they were having a pheasant shoot, she was shaking bless her as the guns went off, the pheasant shoot is a new thing as the farmer from the farm above my cottage has just started this, its quite a distance from us but the sound of the guns carries, so I am going to get some CSJ herbs calm me down to try to see if this will help?

Has anyone used these ? and if so how did you find them, thankyou xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

I use them, but for a different reason as deano my youngest has nervous aggression.

Have you thought about a thundershirt?

Allie, I have some CSJ Stroppy Bitch that I could send you. I know it's not the same as the nervy stuff but I'd be happy to send you it to see if it works? It would save you spending money on the other herbs, it has valerian in it which is supposed to be calming. Just let me know.

I got it for Ruby but then realised that she's not a stroppy bitch she just has good doggy manners!

Also think the Thundershirt may help, I put Elsdon's on when we are at a new place he hasn't been to before as he gets mega excited and it seems to calm him down.

Poor Cassie, will she come upstairs with you at night and sleep so she is not disturbed?

I have not used the herbs but it is definately worth trying. A few people have had good results with the thundershirt and there is money back guarantee if you do not get any results.

Big hugs to Cassie xxx

Amy does this sometimes she's up and down like a Yo Yo all night and we do get foxes and deer at the back of ours. She also does it with strange cats. She gets really concerned.

Don't know about the calm down herbs but there's been positive feedback about their other herb products. We used the Get Over herbs for Bailey and I did think it helped him a little bit.

It might be that she needs time to settle to new noises after being away? Often helps to ignore them until they settle but as we all know ignoring them is very hard lol!

Thank you everyone for your replys xxx

Jan that would be brilliant if you could send me some of the herbs to try thankyou.

and I will look into the thundershirt, its awful to see her shaking when the guns go off with the pheasant shoot and as its a new venture for the farmer I guess it will happen often.

I will ty again taking her up to bed Jo xxx
