PostSubject: I've been kicked off dog training   Thu 26 Jan 2012, 9:39 pm

Glynn didn't feel like standing around in the cold for an hour and a half last Sunday so I missed week two of the training at Sutton. I got an email tonight telling me the class was full and as I'm not as focused as the others in the class we are booted out.

It's for people who are serious about training their dogs...........I did tell him we had Gold in Kennel Club Good Doggie Citizen but as Elsdon just misbehaved all the hour and a half I don't blame him for not believing me.

Bottom of class and that's official lol oops

What a plonker, if class is full he must have allowed someone else to join. I wonder if he thought you had left as you did not turn up?

I did let them know we weren't going in good time and that we would be going this weekend (one way or another, by bus if needs be) but he must think I'm not committed. Either way, Elsdon was so much the naughtiest dog in the class I was almost proud of him for being so totally out of character.

Anyway, I'm hoping to get a lift to go back to Gargrave for Find It Fetch It class am just waiting to hear if anyone can give us a lift. At least its indoors for an hour and a half and not outside in the freezing cold. Can you tell I preferred it at Gargrave lol

Kicked off boot camp, that's a first for me and Elsdon.

I think they are totally out of order, especially as you let them know.

Gargrave find it fetch it, sounds much nicer anyway

It is and they got me and Elsdon through Gold so I trust them 100%. I think I just want to get him focused again, and they know me and him and helped us when he was a wild child spinner smile

Oh he was Claire, he excelled himself in being the baddest dog there, didn't walk to heel, smelled every dog's bum in front of him, wouldn't calm down at all, pulled me everywhere! But then that's Elsdon in a new place every time! I should have put his Thundershirt on, might have helped.

And yes, at bit unfair after missing one week, but this bloke is a popular trainer so there are probably loads of people wanting to train with him and let's face it there are a lot of people out there who need training more than me and Elsdon. Normally when I walk them both they are better behaved than that.

Good to see little Rogue coming along nicely by the way love

Better off with what you know! If Gargrave training fetch it will help him focus again then your better off there.

Outside would have had a lot of distractions even for the most well behaved!

Thanks for your support peeps thanks

Hopefully we can get a lift to Gargrave and have some fun there. I've had his halti on as well since that Sunday along with his Thundershirt and it's worked a treat, you wouldn't know he was the same dog lol

umm Did you pay him at each class or in advance? If it's each class he's probably focused more on the money recieved than the dog.

He obviously doesn't like the pleasure of helping a loveable naughty cheeky dog find his inner goodness lol

I'm sure it will all go well when you go back to the original trainers spinner smile

I'm over it now and not bothered, I know what Elsdon is really like when out and about and he didn't say we couldn't ever go back so perhaps when the weather is better and I can get the bus instead of having Glynn standing around waiting for me I might go back lol
