I'm baffled! midge was pretty much all blaclk apart from a little white star on her chest.

Bertie has a lot of white on him & there's a reason why we call him Dirty Bertie. We had him out in the park this evening & he seemed to have a good time playing with the huge stone he grabbed from the pile he's been collecting outside the house. Of course, as a result of digging, rolling around & rubbing his face in the soil & the mud, by the time we left the park his white patches were mud coloured.

We got home & DB ran upstairs - we could hear him having a drink & pottering around for a couple of minutes in Steve's dad's flat. He reappeared 2 mins later - more or less completely clean!

What does he do with the dirt??

I don't understand! Midge used to do the typical 'rubbing my mucky face etc on any clean fabric I can find, but just washed white bedding is my absolute favourite' routine. Bertie didn't have chance to do this - so where's the muck? huh

He has not sneaked up stairs and had a good roll on your bed has he?

Reuben gets pretty muddied up when we are out but a lot gets rubbed off in the grass etc.

It's so strange though. He was filthy when he ran in to the house & up the stairs but 2 mins later he was almost clean!

I just keep thinking that somewhere in the house there's an enormous pile of mud growing...

Lol! I think they have self cleaning fur! Reggie gets all muddy when he's out, by the time we are home it's all gone!
