Hi
My names Nicola, me and my family have Chester who is a brindle male 11years old. We also had Missi until recently but sadly she passed away (aged 10), safely across the rainbow bridge. We are avid Staffie lovers and would have no other!!

My children Maddie (6) and Maisie (1) love being with the dog and he loves them very much.

Look forward to sharing stories etc...

Nicola

Thanks to all for the warm welcome,
Im sure once Ive settled in there will be many stories to share.
We are seriously thinking of getting Chester a new friend, he really misses her, 10 years of being with someone 24/7 and then they suddenly dissappear must be heartbreaking. He is getting lots of fuss and attention (more so than normal) but he just seems to want to either be on his own or go out for a walk. He is eating and is quite jolly so Im not too worried.
Thanks again

Hi
It was only 2 weeks ago, she had osteo-athritis, in the end she could hardly move. We tried every pain killer going but in the end we just couldnt bear to see her like it anymore.
It was the most horrific thing I have ever had to do but it was what was best for her. She has made us many fab memories and was a real character. I still expect to see her sat up the garden woo woo wooing at me. ha ha ....
She was a white pied big boned girl, will upload pic

Its the worst thing ever isnt it? I had my girl put to sleep in March, she was 14 years old and I did worry about how Reuben would cope but he has been OK.
He is probably feeling a bit out of sorts, the main thing is he is eating and wants to go out

group hug
