Hi, my name is Kirsty and have totally fallen in love with the breed!

I got myself a JRT last year called Toby and we felt that he needed company and decided we wanted to rescue a dog. Although a staffy probably wasn't our first choice at the time we approached the SSBTR to find out more about the breed. We thought we could at least trial one as we had heard so many wonderful stories about the breed despite all the negative media attention towards them at the time!

A few weeks later we brought Caesar home on trial....must admit we wondered what on earth we had done on the journey home from the kennels as the noises coming from the boot were worthy of a horror movie! After 24hrs we knew he wasn't going anywhere(think he just needed a peaceful nights sleep - the kennels were VERY noisy!).

As you can see from the pics Toby & Caesar are very close(Toby is top dog, so much for hoping he would be put in his place!)

Now I doubt we'd get any other breed of dog and can guarantee it will ALWAYS be a rescue! (Will try and get some agility pictures of them nxst time we go!)

Thanks for the warm welcome!

Mainly just Caesar that does the agility and Toby comes along for obedience training(typical JRT that keeps me on my toes when it comes to training - what works one month to get him listening doesnt work the next!) Caesar was a complete natural at it but tends to try and hide in the tunnels when we've finished the course!!!! He didn't look twice at any of the obstacles - too focused on the bits of chicken I had lol!
