I have said I can keep her until the end of the school holidays but feel it would be better for her to go to another foster home once I'm back at work as she would have to be crated whilst I was out the house.

However, I have met a few people whilst out walking her that want me to let them know if it doesn't work out and they will apply to have her(got her an "adopt me" lead to help raise awareness of the rescue!). She is a fantastic dog 1-2-1 and with an experienced owner to teach her some boundaries she will make a fantastic companion!

Yay - Roxy is going off on her home trial tonight! Went for a nice walk with her new brother Duke earlier(another red Staffy).

Think she is going to be one spoilt girl but will also get the training and socialisation she needs! Sad to see her go but leaves room for us to help another......well at the next school holidays! love it

Feel sorry for her at only 11 months being in her 5th home we know of(including mine) - poor thing doesn't know if she's coming or going and has major separation anxietys. Gave the new owners the warts and all details of her behaviour before collection but they seem up for helping her and have the patience to not give up! Fingers crossed for her!!!

I've got a brief guide to dealing with sepratation anxiety I often send out with our rescued dogs. Do you want me to send it on to you so you can pass it on to Roxy's new parents?

Hi Adam

if you have no objections that would be a good document to put in our health section in case any of our members are having issues with their dogs

We're trying to arrange transport to her new home tomorrow - it was arranged for saturday but think they are struggling with her. I'm back at work and don't think it would be fair crating her all day but if it needs done for a few days I guess that's what we'll have to do......I'll happily drive all the way to her new home (4 hour round trip) if her new family are ready

I will do but really hoping for a happy ending this time as the family she will be going to is exactly what I described as being her ideal home!
