apparently there has been massive interest in Carla, there was even a story about her in a big local paper which always gets the busy phones ringing even more!

The fosterer just posted this, "Feet firmly under the table! Sophie (carla) has been with us for 4 days and now weighs 7.4kg. (she did weigh 2.5 on thurs). I'm going to find it so hard to give her back. She's fitted in perfectly. Follows me everywhere and gets on well with chloe, cooper and the boo. She's grown in confidence and doesn't hide behind my legs anymore. had a short walk before and loved it. She's very cheeky and snores like a pig... But we love her loads"

I'm presuming the rescue are waiting until Carla is ready for a normal home before putting a list together of potential adopters.

What a fantastic job you've all done with her.
All at the rescue can rightly be proud of what they did and do , which is a hugely important. Thank You all for caring.
Im so happy for her, the resilience these dogs have is unbelievable .
3 times bigger than last week
I hope and pray that the scum that made her suffer will be brought to book for what they did.

Please keep us up to date K999 she pulled at my heart.

This is why I love working with toubled dogs, no matter what they all want a chance at a normal life and will grab it when guided towards it.

did you click on the link at the end of the article, the one where she chases a ball with 3 other dogs? it's so sweet, and her eyes are so bright!

This is the good side of rescue work!

hopefully her new home will keep us all updated.
