Just recently when we go out and leave Quattro with a filled kong or treat to keep him busy he'll not tuch it until we get home, when we get home he gets all excited about it then starts eating it. Very odd lol

Any other staffies do this?

Same as above. He even can smell it when it's on the side to take the chill off it.

Dell is given a treat when we leave to go to work and he only eats it when we come back in.
he also runs to eat his food excitedly when my Grand-daughter or son comes in.( his fav fun people )
it's like he's saying look what im doing for you.

I don't leave anything either, I treat just before I go out and then they settle until I come back, when I say "be good dogs" spinner smile so far so good.

Mizzie doesn't really eat/chew anything whilst we are out either, but will carry it to the door (if she bothers coming to greet us) then eat it. Never really sussed out why, but presumed she just likes to crash out when we are out.

Kassi is gagging for her treat as soon as she knows I am going out and eats her biscuit before I have got out of the front door.

Raffi looks at it like it is poison says hello when I get home and then eats it.

We daren't leave treats when we go out, would cause WW3 lol!

If its a kong Reggie wont touch it until we get home. If we give him a biscuit on the way out he takes it really slowly and eats it slowly, like he doesnt really want it but will eat it for us! If its a chewy stick he drops it on the floor and walks off!!

Bless, they are funny little souls xx
