We have not been to training for months what with my Dad being poorly and then breaking my ankle and then Reubs being ill.

First night back tonight which should be fun!

Scary isn't it Jo, you feel like first timers, I realised that when I took Elsdon back to training. The dogs just do their thing whilst you think oh my god I've forgotten all the training!

Mmmm it was not a good start but he soon settled down. There were loads of dogs there and just after we arrived she shouted let them off, well all hell broke loose.
They were all charging around playing etc but it was a bit too much for Reuben and I think his head was about to explode when another male staffie decided to come over and have a go. I was kicking the other dog away whilst almost lifting Reuben off the floor as the little bleeder was trying to get through my legs.
The owners grabbed it and once all dogs were back on lead and everyone settled down they boys were fine with each other
Reuben did OK but there were do many dogs there I think he got a bit bored

OMG Fancy doing off lead when a new dog joins the group - personally I am shocked she did this - I would have thought she may have said 'who would like some off lead time' not to let everyone run loose - what a shame xx

Also why not just limit a class to 5 or 6 - so you get the benefit tof training - bless you both and better luck next time x

Very scary stuff, me and Elsdon would have hated that and probably reacted the same as Reuben.

Are you going back?

Yes I am going back but if they have off lead time I may wait outside. She did say it was unusually busy last night and there are usually only about 5 or 6 there
