PostSubject: Alfie at the vets this eve    Mon 19 Nov 2012, 8:58 am

Well after yesterday's forum walk Alfie has hurt his left eye,

It's semi closed & very blood shot

He,s been at it most of the eve shock might have made it worse but I'm not sure

I'm thinking maybe he scratched it at some point but hopefully will know more later

Poor Alfie - sounds like something has either caught the eye or is in the eye - the eye will swell and close to protect it naturally or if the cornea has been scratched or even an ingrowing eyelash can have the same end result - I hope Alfie is gonna be ok - xx

No I can imagine, a week will pass by quickly.
Yesterday was probably one of the more calmer walks too as they did not get as much off lead time as usual

yea martin he was dopey a bit last night but today he full of beans, trying to not let them play together is hell, im counting by the days as he has stitches that are not dissolvable so have to go back for them out in ten days. He should be ok tho i ordered a extra large crate that came today so i can take it in turns putting one in and one out for chill times.

Ouch, he must have really caught that. You would never have known on the walk though but that is typical of the breed
