They are pure mini rex. Mum is a pointed blue magpie and dad is a frosty point and it's early days yet but it looks like the babies may all be blue magpies.

It's going to be VERY hard to let these go when the time comes.

Pic of mum and dad.

Aww so sweet.
Is the blue magpie the more dominant gene out of the two then?
What else do the parents carry?
They have beautiful markings spinner smile

This is were I get confused! Snake genetics I'm great at but rabbit genetics I'm still learning.

Mum carries the REW gene but I was hoping not to produce these. I love them but they prove very hard to rehome :(

This is the site I have been using plus taking advice from the lady who bred all mine.

It's going to be so hard to part with them! They wont be going anywhere till they are 8 weeks old so I will have lots of time to get way too attached to them lol

Day 2. Again, not a great pic as I don't want to use the flash.

Sadly I found one of the babies had passed away during the night. I'm really upset by it. I checked on them before I went to bed and all seemed fine.

I think it may have been the runt as it wasn't as big and it's belly did look quite empty.

The other 3 remaining still look great so fingers crossed this was just one of those things.

RIP little baby bunny group hug
