Reuben never has any interest in people when we are outdoors. However yesterday we were out with Debbie and the boys up at our usual haunt where we very rarely see anyone.

A man came walking down the hill with a dark hoodie on with the hood up and he was very dark black skinned. Reuben immediatley started to stare at him as he came nearer and all his hackles went up on his back. I put him on the lead straight away and as the man got nearer he started to growl and as he was actually passing us (he was a few feet away) he started to bark and lunge at him on the lead,

He has never behaved like this with anyone, especially outdoors.

We have walked past people with hoodies on before so whether it was a combination of the hoodie and black skin I dont know?

Yeah I was just a bit shocked. Debbie did mention that it was good to know he would look after me.

Just glad I put him on the lead
