Ohhhhhh he's a cutie :)

Maybe he had been rubbing his face - hence the pink colouring - but the pigmentation does appear less pink if that makes sense x

My friends dogs go pink if he is reacting to something, he has some form of allergies and his skin flares up but he is usually treated with steroids

I wonder if they can go pink in heat or something like that?

Bakers has been reported to cause many allergies as they add colouring etc to their food.

I own Poochie-Licious Bakery and the number of people who now opt for Raw diet due to food allergies is becoming more popular.

It will probably be from food now you mention it :)

I wonder if the change of food has done it as Suzie suggests? How is he getting on with the new food now?

He's doing ok Jo , i have also been mixing a bit of pal in with it at night aswel , so not giving him quite as many JWB at night , and he seems fine :) its deffo a weird one his lips LOL, he also had two bald patches on his paws on the side when i got him they looked quite sore when i got him and it was where he had rubbed on his crate , its gone from looking sore to looking pink to looking quite dark now, and now the fur is growing back hence why it looks dark i think , i can feel it and it feels like velvet

Thank's Jo , i think he's starting to look alot healthier , his coat seems softer , bald patches from the crate rubbing have grown back , and the obvious pink lips have gone back to black , just not 100% sure on the JWB tho ? he does have smelly breath and smelly feet and it was pointed out to me in another thread that it could be an allergy the smelly feet ? so wondering if the JWB may not be the best food for him even tho it is hypo allergenic ?

Hi

Just as i thought this pink had gone for good , i have now noticed it coming back , but this time right under his nose , the only thing i can think of that i have done different is adding aquadent in his water directed by the vet , this was given to me on the 12th of october and only used for a few days untill i relaised he just doesnt like his water with it in , so hes not had any now for a few days , but the pink pigment is deffo getting more noticable by the day , like it look's more noticable today than yesterday , any idea's anyone as to what it could be ?
