PostSubject: Sore legs   Sun 29 Sep 2013, 8:44 am

Quattro seems to have sore front legs the last few days and can't jump up onto the sofa or bed and is whimpering for help to get up the stairs. He's been out with his ball each day this week so has had a lot of exercise off lead so he just went for a gentle lead walk yesterday. He's been out with the ball a lot of late but has been fine & is very fit (take him running) so not really sure why this has effected him now. Hopefully it'll ease over the next few days

Could he have pulled something in one of them which means the other is taking more of the strain? I would just do gentle walks for a couple of days and see how he gets on

Does he appear to be walking OK?

He's walking fine Jo, no limping etc & runs around playing. I'm having to help him onto the sofa and when I put my arms under his front legs to lift him he yelped so I know its the front legs. Will keep an eye on him over the next few days and just road walks.

Just gave him a massage and he was fine with this

Could it be a chest muscle rather than his legs?
