PostSubject: neighbours dog got run over    Mon 02 Dec 2013, 6:14 pm

I was in the back garden today with wiley , when i heard this almighty thud , and what sounded like cats scrapping , then there was a huge commotion with ppl crying and shouting , turned out my neighbours dog had ran into the road into a oncoming car , i dont really have alot to do with them , only a hello if i see them , so not sure whats happened to the dog , the last i saw they rushed it in the car and to the vet in there arms so i guess it couldnt move ?? but i took wiley out for his walk shortly after and when i got back they were back , but didnt see them come in so dont know if the dog is ok, it really shuck me up and made me think just how distraught i would be if it was wiley , not sure how fast the car driver was goin but they do drive too fast down here as its only a side road but ppl do bolt down , but on the other hand i suppose its the dog owners fault for it been out , trouble is they never ever walk there dogs , so if there's an opputunity for them to get out they do and they bolt , i have found them in my garden before today as they just want to get out i guess

OMG I really feel for them all - I have just hit a Stafford this morning after it ran out of the owners front door - I feel so shaken and upset.

I truly hope the pooch is gonna be ok - hugs to you as it does shake you up xx

Poor lad, i am sure he will adapt. I suppose it could have been worse.

Dogs are quite amazing at recovering from horrific ordeals so I am sure he will be up and about in no time. I helped rehome a three legged dog that had been dumped at our local vets and he manages very well on three legs and is still daft as a brush. He lost his front leg in a car accident
