PostSubject: my lot had a fight   Fri 14 Feb 2014, 6:53 pm

Was walking the dogs at the golf course this afternoon. George started his barking and jumping around in front of Ruby, she usually runs over to me as she's not interested, this time she couldn't get to me as he was in front of her so she went for him (she did warn him first).
This resulted in a full scale fight, I had my wellies on so was slipping and sliding on my bum in the mud. We managed to get hold of Ruby then Daisy launched herself onto George, so we had to start again, keeping hold of Ruby!

Total nightmare....George has a puncture wound on his shoulder but that's the only injury. I was covered in mud, had to drape the car in towels before I could drive home.

Generally annoyed with George, he's got no social skill as all, does this to other dogs too. Usually I can distract him and calm him down but this time it blew up too quickly.

All clean and dry now but my back is aching and my friend has a puncture wound in her hand. umm

Fine now. Put them on leads walking back to the car, let the girls off after a bit as they get cold. Put them in the boot together without any problems.

Ruby doesn't like dogs in her face and George can't seem to understand that, when he gets one on him he just pushes and pushes.

How scary and annoying, naughty George. Glad you are all ok though, is George in the dog house now?

They're all fine, no dirty looks. Once they had been seperated it was like nothing had happened. I'll have to keep a better eye on George, you can usually read the 'thought bubbles' over his head and tell what he's thinking.
