It has been raining hard all day today with the odd short storm so my two have not been out. Reuben has spent most of the afternoon in the conservatory, they aren't supposed to go in there but with all the doors and windows open despite the rain it's hard to stop them going in

awwwwwww look at him , does he not scratch the leather sofa ? my daughters kicking off as her boyfreinds brothers staffy cross has jumped on her leather sofa and marked it , whereas her little jack russell been lighter footed is ok

No, it is the opposite here. Reuben has very short blunt nails whereas Belles although short are like needles and do scratch the leather, she is often scratching at the bottom of the suite trying to get balls she has rolled under. I am forever up and down retrieving them
