Well Well just as i thought it would go up , but i didnt expect 10 pound a month hike , rang them up and they said its because last year was introductionary , and they also take into account natiuonal average of claims on staffies , so he said if theres been alot of claims for one illness on a staffie that year then insurance goes up ? so i guess if 10000 ppl who own blue staffs cliam for skin probs then the rest of us suffer even if our staffies dont have skin probs ?

goin to shop around and see if i can get a better price

I was with M&S and it kept going up every year until they wanted £55 per month just for Reuben

I am now with More Than. Their policy is pay the excess and 10% of the remaining bill! however you can opt out of that by paying a little extra every month. I have the best policy they offer and for both of mine in a joint policy it is £28 per month

I did loads of shopping around and read lots of small prints before I committed to More Than as they are all robbing gits!

I'm not covered for Reuben's allergies now but I manage them myself and have not seen the vets for some time now, I don't think I have made a claim for three years on his allergies
