PostSubject: Peeing in the house   Fri 10 Oct 2014, 6:34 am

Belle has started to pee in the house again umm

Twice this morning depsite the back door being open all the time from us getting up she peed at the bottom of the stairs
There is no excuse for it as the door is fully open and it is dry outside

I have also smelt wee a couple of times on the large be she shares with Reuben at night in the last couple of weeks but I dont know when she is doing this as when I leave for work hubby is still in bed so I leave them in there with him

When we go on our morning walk it is very unusual for her to go to the toilet. On the odd occasion she may have a wee but thats it, she's always been like that on our walks. If she is walked on her own she tends to go more often and when on the fields she always goes

I am supposed to be having my carpet cleaned in a couple of weeks as there are some unsightly stains which I think are caused by Belle and my sons bad attempt at trying to clean from some months ago

How bizarre that she is doing this again have you thought of puppy pads or fake grass may near the door. I know u may not want her peeing in the home. But if it's saved your carpets....just a thought xx

Bicarbonate of soda is good for taking the smell away. I thought about getting my living room carpet cleaned but it's past its life now and needs replacing,it's only cheap anyway and was never fitted properly. When I do get one, no-one is being left in there at night, they are back to sleeping in their crates in the kitchen spinner smile

There's been nothing since I posted, very early days yet as she had not done it for months when she started again

Not that I could think of, it was very early morning and the back door was open. Same routine every morning is that I get up, let them in the garden, get dressed and take them for a walk
