Does your vets allow you to have treatment and them claim the money off the insurance , or do you have to pay upfront and then claim it back off your insurance ?

Im a tad worried as i thought the vets claim it back , but ive just read that vets take the money from you and then you claim it from your insurance , i insured wiley because i dont have large amount's of money lying about , i took it that thats why most ppl insure so reading this on one of my local vets websites has kinda worried me , its not on the website of the vet i use but im now not sure how my own vets work

Most vets will claim direct from Pet Plan but differs with other companies. In my vets and it is down to the discretion of the senior nurse whether they claim direct

As Jo says pet plan tend to pay direct. I always ask before accepting a quote both with the company n vet.

It depends on the company and also which vets. My local vet charges then I claim back but the vet school claims direct x
