Hello to everyone, having just become the proud of owner of a full of life beautiful 7 month old staffsky called Olaf I thought I'd join this forum as it seems everyone on here is like minded in the fact that Staffies are amazing dogs. Hopefully I will also learn a few things from people on here as Olaf is my first staff. So I'm not sure what else to write here other than hello again to everyone.
All the best to everyone
Jay

You could try your phone, if you click on the first icon on the fourth box above you can try and upload from there. If not it will have to be from your PC or you could put your pics on photocket and then you just need to select the code to upload the pic.

If you want to email me one I can put it up for you. My email addy is jtench6@googlemail.com

Welcome aboard, looking forward to hearing lots about Simba and Olaf spinner smile

With difficulty at times but they enjoy playing and chasing each other as much as bouncing all over me so it's not to bad haha, I see your two have a bit of an age difference, did that make it easier? I couldn't not get Olaf to be fair though xx

Not really to be honest as they play endlessly although belle is a lot more active than Reuben and can go all day without stopping (I sometimes wish I had her energy!).

When we got Reuben at six months old I think Chloe was 11/12 and we had to get a younger dog as she was quite aggresive with other dogs, and even with such an age gap there was still a lot of play which usually involved Reuben on the floor on his back with Chloe on top of him biting his face and legs.  He was always so gentle with her too
You can see the difference with him playing with Belle and it is full on and very noisy.  The positive side to this is that sometimes my boy does not want to walk due to nervous tendancies when outdoors but it does not mean that his excercise is reduced as Belle just does not allow it!

Ah fair enough it sounds a lot like my Simba and Olaf, they are constantly play fighting, but thy take it in turns to win to, Simba being a Chihuahua is nervouse on the lead but a big dog off the lead, Olaf on the other hand is a nutcase and bounces round so excitedly when ever he sees another dog and some people see him as aggressive but he just wants to play. Xx

Belle adores everything and thinks every dog will play, Reuben can be a bit hit and miss with bigger dogs but on the whole he tends to be OK.

Ah see that's how Olaf it's but gets miss judged because of his over excitedness to play, where belle or Reuben ever like that? We aren't sure if Olaf had a bad time with his last owners or not either in all honesty

Yeah, sort of? Judging by my pommy step dad & tv shows (I've never been to England) our land is atleast 2-3 times the size of your house land. Where I live anyway.

My yard is great for the old "cricket match" after xmas lunch, even with 1/4 of it taken up with a 4 car garage, a 1 car (wood shed) & vegie patch.

Yeah that's a lot bigger than my area haha, if had that much land I'd have so many animals to, so it's probably lucky I only live in a flat at the moment

I had a cat & budgie when I lived in a flat. (Feeling old she says... that was a long time ago. Not often does our laws permit dogs in flats. Unlike both the UK & the US.)

Here, we can only have 2 dogs, 2 cats, & 5 fowl on any block my size or larger, without an inspection & an annual fee for a permit. (Unless you are classed as rural.) Our laws & inspectors are very strict here.
