Not my dogs, my friends or family dogs, someone I know from a distance.

If you knew your dog had a bad tooth, decayed, broken, chipped, dead, or painful....

How long would you wait to take said dog to the vet? anyone?

I wouldn't, I would take it immediately for something like that as it would be in a lot of pain. Just as I would book a dental appt if I was the same

Yeah, that's what I think too.

It's a Bullie in England. I am refusing to reply to a post as I am annoyed someone who says they love their dog has let it go for about 3mths now. I said, take the dog to the vet! They are still waiting..... FOR WHAT?

I would have seen to his tooth immediately. It's painfull & distressing. I suspect we have all felt the pain of a damaged tooth. It ain't pleasant. There is no reason to let this go & I don't know about England but here.... we have charity vets at some churches every month, a free service to help anyone with a pet in need that can't afford vet bills...

Sorry... there's no excuse in my eyes for not taking care of your dog. Don't go to the movies this month, don't "do" lunch with the girls, don't buy a new dress, smoke, drink or anything else untill his tooth is fixed & the vet is paid.

I don't think any of us would wait at all even if sometimes we are scared with the "over protective" label.

If you have a pet you have a responsibility.

We have charities here that will help if you are on a low income/ benefits

Also if your pets are insured then it's only a nominal excess fee to pay, I assume she is not insured.

My cat is not insured but it has not stopped me getting him sorted, and should I get stuck I could call on family for help

Exactly girls!

I didn't think anyone would wait to fix something so easy to correct but, I am obviously wrong.

I also see my clan as my responsibility, but it appears other don't. ( much to my disgust).

I'm a big one for.... if you can't take care of them... Don't take them in!
When you come to my house, I will ensure you all you need &want. group hug
