PostSubject: Diesel Epulis Operation Date   Tue 04 Aug 2015, 3:46 pm

OMG it is scheduled for 27th August.

I really am anxious as I have never had a pooch go in for an operation before -I am tryingto get my head around it and have one million questions and I really don't want him to be put under but it has to be done.

Paul will take the Friday off and we are both off Monday 31st Aug so we will be with him 24/7 from Friday until Monday

I wish the damn epulis would just disappear

Aww poor thing (both of you).

He will be fine, and if it has to be done, it is the only way.

It is good that you have time off and a long weekend xxx

He will be fine, come Saturday morning and you will not even know he had been under on the Friday. You can always text me on the Friday if you are struggling xx

I am wondering if the vet will give you some liquid feed to help him in the start and possibly an antiseptic mouth wash he can have. main thing is going to be keeping it clean xxx

Hi Sandi - thank you - I did think of that, I have a liquidiser at home that is new - so maybe I could use that if vet agrees xx

yeah great idea, but you might need a plastic syringe as well to start.

It's the same as giving us chicken soup we get the nourishment when we can't eat with wisdom teeth and the like. Expect Rocco to want some lol

Vet will advise of course.
