When people come round to the house!

He constantly barks and tries humping visitors to the point I am having to shut him in the kitchen. It is not just the first few minutes of people being round, it can be an hour before he settles down.

Nothing I say seems to calm his down and he completely ignores anything I say

Gosh that must be hard work hun.

Have you tried placing him on his lead when people come round?

Enzo gets very excited and I cannot stop him jumping up, it can be very embarrassing so I understand.

Are you able to distract him with anything like a Kong to keep him occupied?
I found that putting Enzo on a lead made it worse and he was pulling & scrambling for grip and then choking from the collar and it made it into an even bigger scene!

I've tried with treats but as soon as he finished it he is off again. He can demolish a pigs ear in a few minutes and I've yet to find anything that will last a bit longer
