PostSubject: Treats making him ill   Wed 26 Aug 2015, 10:18 pm

Last week Monday and Tuesday Enzo was being sick. I thought it was from the BBQ I had, he got hold of some corn on the cob rusk!
The rest of the week he was fine but then Monday and Tuesday just gone he was being sick again.
(He was sick on my new carpet so I bought a rug, but guess what, he was sick around the rug on the carpet again!)

I've now worked out what was making him sick. On both Sundays I did training with him using some treats I bought from BnM or The Range can't remember but they were only a pound for the packet. I emptied them in his treat box and threw the packet away so I don't know what was in them. But as you can see from the pic they are bright red. They obviously don't agree with him. I was getting really worried thinking the corn in the cob rusk was stuck in his tummy (Google said it was dangerous).

They've been put in the bin and I won't be buying anything like that again. He does have a sensitive tummy, he's fine with real food, carrot, banana etc but these treats must have had additives in them and colouring which I reckon doesn't agree with him.

If they're red then they are full off additives and colourings so won't agree with him if he has a sensitive tum. I stick to dried meat for me training treats which I get from jolleyes (looks a bit like pork crackling)

Awwww poor Enzo - at least you have found the source - I only make my boys treats now as so many have cereals or wheat in them.

Have you thought of making your own x
