PostSubject: Heart in Mouth Moment   Sun 11 Oct 2015, 5:17 pm

What a morning!

Took boys out on countryside today, off lead.

Next thing Rocco darts off after 2 deer, recall totally failed!!

After a few mins Rocco came back but his hind leg was tucked up!!

He wouldn't place weight on it and was hoping on 3 legs!

Felt sick, thought he'd either snapped cruciate or broken something.

Managed to give it a gentle rub and after a few mins the little bugger was walking on it again!! good job

Must have twisted himself but I I moment Paul and I were just in shock!

All seems ok now thank god.

He has been going mental though rubbing and itching so had to bath him and give him half a piriton.

Seems to have done the trick.

Can I just have a normal week please!!

That's the problem with deer. Anything else will run up a tree, fly off or go down a hole but deer don't!
