Hello from Mollie and me (Jon)

Mollie is a sweet-natured, energetic and excitable Staffie cross. Mollie is our first dog and I hope to get some tips on training and to join in the conversations about Staffies.

I will post a pic or two once I have been a member long enough

ATB

Jon

Welcome to you both, look forward to pics. Have you had her from a pup or just rescued her?

We bought her as a pup - 5kg of excitement. Now she's 20kg of excitement! As I said, she has a lovely nature. She loves people and loves dogs. But she gets very excited when she meets people and dogs so off lead time is restricted. But we love her!

Hi Martin
Mollie is 2 years and 2 months old. She's still very puppy-like as far as her behaviour is concerned! I have some pictures of her on photobucket but can link to them until I've been a member for a week. I post videos of her on Facebook but may need to look into using YouTube?

Thanks v much Jo - yes, she is lovely. A bit of handful, but sweet natured and so gentle (as she nibbles my ears!)

Thanks both :)

It's been raining almost all day and she's had two shorter walks than usual, but is sleeping soundly at the moment. Of course this could mean she will be extra lively later!

Will do Sandi

Needless to say, after a quiet day yesterday she was very lively in the evening! It's wet again today but will have to get her out for a decent walk this afternoon

Mollie doesn't like rain - is that a Staffie thing?

Conversely, she didn't like going in water until she saw other dogs playing in it - now she takes any chance she gets :)

My two don't mind light rain, especially if there are tennis balls about but heavy rain you have no chance of getting them out and if we are out when it starts they will pull to get home quickly

They both love going into the lake though, especially Belle
