PostSubject: a baby we homed   Wed 19 May 2010, 12:29 pm

a little dog was advertised on freecycle and i had major rows over the fact they allowed dogs and other pets to be advertised on there
Tj was advertised on there living in a caravan with lots of other doggies so i asked for her unfortunatley she wasnt meant to be a few weeks after having her she started to show her teeth to boo , i couldnt take the risk of her biting boo that wasnt fare on tj so we decided to find her a loving home with no children where she would never be at risk
the new owner kept in touch and she settled in lovely and was spoilt rotten
heres a few pics of her she was apparentley husky x shep although the vet wasnt sure on that lol

and pics like this amaze me she was so good but then suddenley started to snap
:cries:

its hard to think how she turned boo loved her and still asks now wheres tj
i would never give a dog chance to bit thats unfair to the dog and in tj's case she was older lived as a wild dog really ,
so for her to come into a home with humans must have been very confusing for her every other way she was fabulous and had we not got boo we would still have her here now .

I remember once my parents rehomed a dog that had a scar down it's side. The rescue center didn't know how the dog had been injured. I went in to see the dog the first morning we had him and he snapped at me. My parents were worried and even tho most of the time he was very good, he did it a few more times so he had to go back. You just can't risk it with kids even tho it's not the dogs fault.
