PostSubject: New Kitten.   Sun 14 Nov 2010, 7:32 pm

Well as some of you are aware my friends little female cat was pregnant and I was to have a new baby, well Angel is her name and she is such a clever girl she had them on Armistice Day November the 11th, she had them on the end of the sofa, my friend called me at 7:15am and told me to come over.

What a humbling experience watching her give birth to 5 tiny mittens. Well as it happens I am now have two of them lol yea yea I know. Here are a few pictures of the babies.

Sorry for the yucky bits.

These were taken earlier today.

They are 4 days old today and they have grown so much already, I am having the smallest one she is all black and a black one with white bits. I have also done abit of research and we have figured out that my two are both girls, and in the spirit of Armistice day they will be called Poppy the black and white one and Matilda (named after a tank in world war 1 so Paul tells me)

I can't wait 7 weeks brings us to 30th December then I bring my new babies home, I am hoping that with them growing up with Daisy she will lose interest and not be so wiggly with the cats.

Nemo loves the dogs but daisy gets just abit to wiggly for him.

Hi Dee, Becky my friend is keeping the tabby one and that one is a boy. The vet's nurse is having one and another friend the other. We actually had to rush her up to the vets about 2hours after the last kitten came something was half in and half out it was actually a baby kitten that had not formed and was dead poor thing.

Yea all is great now, I can't believe they have almost doubled in size in 4 days, and Angel the mummy is such a good mum too, she was put into her box that has just a entrance for her to get in and out and has not moved at all, apart to just eat and go to the litter tray.

Lol @ asbo kitten is yours driving you crazy?

Time can not go fast enough I just want them at home already, I bought them so far a Kitten duffel bag bed, a microwavable heat pad with hearts and their names on it, a super cute enclosed litter tray in pink, and have my eye on a few other items lol Paul doesn't know about any of that yet haha.

They have that huge climbing frame thing when they are alittle older.
