Here are some photos of my pony at his place of loan. At present he is on loan to Riding for the Disabled but he may be coming home some time this year.

This woman was terrified of horses but for a fundraising agreed to have a go on my boy.

Thanks all. Dhughaill will be 16 in May and I have had him since he was 5 months old.

Yes Linda, he is very quiet, but only when he has young kids or disabled riders on his back. With an experienced rider, he can be a bit feisty, which makes him really special as he is by no means boring to ride but adjusts himself as per his rider's ability. He is very popular at the riding for the disabled stable that he is currently at and I think there will be a lot of disappointed people when he comes back to us, possibly sometime this year. He has a great character and my friend, who used to be the yard manager, swears there isn't another one like him. She is convinced he thinks he is a person, and even prefers people to other ponies.

Thanks all for your comment. He is a lovely boy and I am so proud of the good job he has been doing. I do think he is starting to get a bit fed up with it though so we should be bringing him back home sometime over the next few months. It will be lovely to have him back. Now that my kids are that bit older they are more able to help with him and I have a friend who wants to help out as well and have her daughter ride him. As my health got worse I was so worried that I wouldn't be able to get him back ever so am much happier now that it is looking like he is coming back. The kids are really excited now as well.
