What would you do if she cries in the night?

settle her down, leave her, if she cries and does not stop, get up and let her out for a wee whether she wants it or not and keep going like that so she knows it is wee or bed one or the other.

However, if she is really creating and you have neighbours that can hear, I suppose there is not a lo you can do other than stay with her, but it would not be something you could do forever.

See how it goes leaving her tonight but try not to get up on the first whinge see if she settles, maybe leave a light on?

Is her crate covered? If not I would try covering the crate fully with a dark blanket when you put her to bed so she feels nice and secure.
I used to cover the back and sides of mine during the day and then cover the cage at night, he soon learnt that mean't bed time

Well last night was brilliant! I put her in her crate once before bed just for a couple of mins again and covered it, their was a bit of wingeing but that was all. Put her in at 10.30 then nothing until 6.30am!

The covering worked, of course my other crate is in quite a dark place with a piece of wood on it so we can store shoes on top so it didn't occur to me that the other one was too open for her. Also put the T shirt I had been wearing that day with her.

Thank you so much!
